How buttock fillers work
Your physician assesses the buttocks standing and from several angles, then maps where volume will improve shape most. A volumising filler suitable for body use is injected into the layer under the skin with a blunt cannula, never into the muscle, through a small number of entry points. The product is distributed in layers and moulded for an even result.
Buttock contouring needs large volumes of filler, so it is one of the higher-cost filler treatments and many patients build their result over two visits. Results are temporary as the body breaks the filler down. Hyaluronic acid based products can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. A thorough consultation is essential to set realistic expectations.
