How HIFU lifting works
HIFU uses cartridges set at fixed depths, commonly around 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm and 4.5 mm, to focus ultrasound energy into tiny thermal points. At the deeper setting it reaches the SMAS layer, and at shallower settings the dermis. The heat contracts tissue and starts a healing response that builds collagen over the following months.
Shurink Universe offers several treatment modes, including a faster linear mode suited to larger areas and more comfortable passes. Coolsonic combines focused ultrasound with skin cooling to improve comfort. Your physician chooses the device, depths and number of shots for each zone based on your tissue thickness and goals.
Your treatment day
- Assessment Your physician checks skin thickness, sagging and facial fat and chooses the device and depths.
- Numbing Make-up is removed and numbing cream is applied for about 30 minutes in your private room.
- Ultrasound treatment Gel is applied and the doctor treats each zone in lines at planned depths, adjusting to your comfort.
- Finish Gel is removed and soothing care applied; you can usually go back to normal plans.
