How Juvelook works
Juvelook contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible material that the body breaks down slowly. As it does, it triggers a mild response that encourages fibroblasts to produce new collagen. The hyaluronic acid in the formula adds hydration in the early weeks and helps spread the product smoothly.
Because collagen forms gradually, Juvelook does not give an instant filled look. Skin tends to feel firmer and look smoother over 1–3 months, with results building across a course. It sits between hydrating skin boosters and volumising fillers, and pairs well with Rejuran Healer for skin repair.
Your treatment day
- Consultation Your doctor assesses skin thickness, hollows and scars, and confirms Juvelook is suitable.
- Numbing Numbing cream is applied for 30–40 minutes in your private room.
- Injections The physician injects Juvelook with a fine needle or cannula, usually in 20–30 minutes.
- Aftercare The area is cooled, and you receive massage and aftercare instructions if advised.

How long does Juvelook last?

How many Juvelook sessions do I need?

Can I fly after Juvelook?
Yes, flying the next day is generally fine. Mild swelling or small bumps may still be visible for 1–3 days. Follow any massage advice during your trip.
Juvelook or filler: which should I choose?
HA fillers give immediate, defined volume and can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Juvelook gives gradual firmness and soft improvement and cannot be dissolved. Some patients use both for different areas.
What are the side effects?
Swelling, redness, bruising and small bumps are common for a few days. Less commonly, firm nodules can form, which is why correct dilution and technique matter. Your doctor will explain the risks at consultation.
