Gangnam skin clinic visit at DIORE Clinic, Gangnam, Seoul

Message us on WhatsApp at +82 10 6463 5532 before you travel. Tell the coordinator what you would like to improve, your arrival and departure dates, and any treatments you have had before. Clear photos in daylight help the doctor give an early view of what may suit you.

The coordinator replies with suitable options, an indicative quote and available times. If you are not sure which treatment you need, book a consultation and decide after the doctor has examined your skin.

Getting to the clinic

DIORE is at 428 Gangnam-daero, on the 9th floor, between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station. From Gangnam Station (Line 2 and Shinbundang Line), use Exit 11. From Sinnonhyeon Station (Line 9), use Exit 6. Both are a short walk.

If you take a taxi, show the driver the address in Korean, which your coordinator can send on WhatsApp. Allow extra time at weekday rush hour.

Your first visit, step by step

  • Arrive about 10 minutes early and check in at reception on the 9th floor.
  • Complete a short medical questionnaire with your coordinator's help.
  • Have your skin assessed by a physician in a private room, with Mark-Vu II imaging where useful.
  • Discuss options, expected downtime and a written quote before deciding.
  • If you go ahead, numbing is applied where needed and the doctor performs the treatment.
  • Receive written aftercare instructions and a WhatsApp contact for questions.

Timing treatment around your trip

Plan your main treatment early in your stay. Many energy-based treatments such as Ultherapy or Onda lifting usually leave only mild redness or swelling. Injectables such as lip fillers or under-eye fillers can cause swelling or bruising for several days, so leave a margin before photos or events.

Flying soon after most non-surgical treatments is generally fine, but tell the doctor your flight date so the plan allows for it. Treatments that build results over weeks, such as Juvelook or Rejuran, usually need repeat sessions, which may suit people who visit Seoul more than once.

Quotes, payment and receipts

Your quote is confirmed by the doctor before treatment begins, and payment is made at the clinic. Ask your coordinator in advance which payment methods are accepted. You can request an itemised receipt listing the treatments performed, which is useful for your own records.

Aftercare once you are home

Follow the written aftercare sheet: gentle cleansing, sunscreen, and avoiding saunas, intense exercise and alcohol for the period the doctor advises. If you have a question after you fly home, message your coordinator with a photo and they will pass it to the doctor.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Booking ahead on WhatsApp is strongly recommended so a doctor and coordinator are available for you. Same-day requests are sometimes possible; message us to check.

Can I have treatment on the day of my consultation?

Often, yes. If the doctor confirms the treatment suits you and the schedule allows, you can usually go ahead the same day. Mention it when booking so enough time is reserved.

Is it safe to fly after treatment?

For most non-surgical skin treatments, flying a day or two later is generally fine. Swelling can feel more noticeable on a long flight, so tell the doctor your flight date and follow the aftercare advice.

Will a coordinator be with me during treatment?

Yes. A coordinator who speaks your language can stay with you through consultation and treatment to translate and answer practical questions.

Can I get a quote before I arrive?

Yes, an indicative quote is available via WhatsApp once we understand your goals. The doctor confirms the final plan and quote after examining your skin.

Are the clinic's opening hours convenient for tourists?

DIORE is open seven days a week with no lunch break: weekdays until 8:30 PM and weekends and public holidays until 5 PM, so you can book around sightseeing.

Which treatments are popular with visitors on short stays?

Lifting devices such as Thermage, Botox and skin boosters suit short trips because downtime is usually limited. The doctor will advise what fits your timetable.
