What laser lifting treats
Laser lifting works best on skin that has started to soften rather than skin that has dropped noticeably. It also improves surface quality at the same time.
- Mild to moderate skin laxity
- Early jowls and lower-face heaviness
- Fine lines on the cheeks and around the mouth
- Loss of firmness along the jawline
- Dull skin and uneven texture
- Enlarged pores
For deeper sagging, energy devices such as HIFU lifting or a non-surgical facelift plan usually achieve more.
How laser lifting works
Light-based tightening devices deliver gentle, sustained heat into the dermis while the surface is cooled. The heat makes existing collagen fibres contract, which can give a subtle firming effect soon after treatment, and it triggers new collagen production that continues for weeks to months.
Because energy is spread evenly and the surface is protected, there is usually no wound and you can return to daily activities straight away. Laser lifting is often combined with laser toning for tone, or with Potenza when pores and texture need more work. It acts at a shallower depth than focused ultrasound, so it suits maintenance and early laxity rather than significant sagging.
Your treatment day
- Assessment Your doctor examines skin laxity and quality and confirms that laser lifting suits your degree of sagging.
- Preparation Makeup is removed in your private room, a gel is applied and protective eyewear is fitted.
- Laser lifting The physician moves the cooled handpiece over each area in passes, building heat gradually. This usually takes 20–40 minutes.
- Finish Moisturiser and sunscreen are applied, and you can return to your day straight away.
Results timeline
Some firmness can be felt early, but most change comes as new collagen forms.

Laser Lifting FAQ
Does laser lifting hurt?
Most people feel deep warmth that builds and then eases as the handpiece moves. The surface is cooled throughout, and numbing is usually not needed. Settings can be adjusted if an area feels too hot.
How many laser lifting sessions do I need?
A series of 3–6 sessions every 2–4 weeks is typical. Your doctor sets the number based on your skin laxity and goals. Maintenance sessions every few months help keep results.
Is laser lifting the same as HIFU or Thermage?
No. Laser lifting works mainly in the dermis and suits mild laxity, while HIFU reaches deeper tissue and Thermage uses radiofrequency. They are often combined in one plan.
Can I have laser lifting before an event or flight?
Yes, there is usually no visible downtime beyond brief flushing. You can fly the same or next day. Allow a few weeks if you want collagen changes to show.
How long do results last?
Results from a full series usually last several months, depending on age, sun exposure and lifestyle. Ageing continues, so many people book maintenance sessions. Daily sunscreen helps protect results.
What are the side effects?
Temporary redness, warmth and mild swelling are common and settle quickly. Less often, there can be blistering or pigment change. A physician sets energy to reduce these risks.
How much does laser lifting cost?
Cost depends on the areas treated and the number of sessions. Send us a message on WhatsApp at +82 10 6463 5532 for a personalised quote.
