What a non-surgical facelift treats
A non-surgical facelift addresses descent and looseness of tissue, which is different from changing facial shape.
- Early jowls and a blurred jawline
- Sagging cheeks and deepening nasolabial folds
- Loose skin under the chin and on the neck
- Drooping brows and heavy upper eyelids
- Crepey, thinning skin with reduced firmness
- Marionette lines from lower-face descent
If your concern is shape rather than sagging, see non-surgical facial contouring. For the eye area, see droopy eyelid correction.
How a non-surgical facelift works
Focused ultrasound devices such as Ultherapy Prime, which uses real-time DeepSEE imaging, and Shurink Universe deliver heat to precise depths including the SMAS, the layer lifted in surgical facelifts. Monopolar radiofrequency with Thermage FLX heats the dermis more broadly to tighten skin, and Onda microwave energy can firm the jowl area. The heat contracts existing collagen and starts a healing response that builds new collagen over 2–3 months.
Your physician usually combines layers: ultrasound for deep lift, radiofrequency for skin tightness, and a thread lift where tissue needs to be repositioned straight away. Lost volume may be restored with filler, and skin quality supported with Potenza or skin boosters. A non-surgical facelift suits mild to moderate sagging; very loose skin is better assessed by a surgeon.
Your treatment day
- Laxity assessment Your physician examines how much and where tissue has descended, and checks skin thickness.
- Choosing the layers You agree which device or threads to use and whether to combine them in one visit.
- Numbing and treatment Numbing cream is applied in your private room, then the doctor treats each area according to the plan.
- Home the same day Mild redness or tightness is common, and most people go back to normal activities straight away.
Results timeline
The lift develops as new collagen forms, so patience matters.

Non-Surgical Facelift FAQ
Is a non-surgical facelift as effective as surgery?
No. Results are more modest and temporary, but there are no incisions and little downtime. It suits mild to moderate sagging and people who want to delay or maintain after surgery.
Does a non-surgical facelift hurt?
Ultrasound and radiofrequency cause heat and brief deep discomfort, especially over bone. Numbing cream helps, and your doctor can adjust energy levels during treatment.
How long do the results last?
Ultrasound and radiofrequency results typically last around a year, and thread lifts around 12–18 months. Natural ageing continues, so most people plan yearly maintenance.
Which device is best for me?
It depends on where the sagging is and how thick your skin is. Ultrasound targets deep lift, radiofrequency tightens skin, and threads reposition tissue. Your physician often combines them.
Can I fly home after treatment?
After device treatments you can usually fly the next day. After a thread lift, allow a few days in Seoul for swelling to settle and a check-up.
Can I combine it with fillers or Botox?
Yes. Filler restores lost volume and toxin softens lines. Your doctor plans the order and may space treatments on the same area.
How much does a non-surgical facelift cost?
It depends on the devices, the number of shots or lines and any threads used. Message our coordinators on WhatsApp at +82 10 6463 5532 for a quote.
