What a non-surgical forehead lift treats
This treatment addresses the upper third of the face as a unit, looking at forehead skin, temple support and where the brows sit.
- Early descent of the brows and forehead
- A heavy or tired look across the upper face
- Loss of firmness at the temples
- Mild hooding caused by a lower brow position
- Flattening of the brow arch with age
- Forehead skin that has lost some tension
If your main concern is only the brow arch, see our non-surgical brow lift; for crepey forehead skin and texture alone, forehead tightening may be the better fit.
How a non-surgical forehead lift works
The brow is held up by the frontalis muscle and the connective tissue of the forehead and temples. With age this support loosens and the brow-depressing muscles around the eyes pull the tail of the brow down. We use focused ultrasound( Ultherapy Prime or HIFU) to reach the deeper support layer along the temples and hairline, and radiofrequency or microwave energy( Thermage FLX or Onda) to tighten the forehead skin. The heat contracts existing collagen and prompts new collagen over the following months.
Where the muscles around the eyes are pulling the brow down, the physician may add a small, precise dose of botulinum toxin to those depressor muscles so the forehead muscle can lift the brow slightly. The plan, device choice and energy levels are set by the doctor after assessing your brow position at rest and in movement.
Your treatment day
- Consultation and mapping Your physician assesses brow height, forehead laxity and muscle activity, then marks the treatment zones on the forehead and temples.
- Cleansing and numbing Make-up is removed and numbing cream is applied for around 30–40 minutes in your private room.
- Energy treatment The physician treats the temples, hairline and forehead with the chosen device, adjusting energy to your comfort.
- Optional toxin and finish If planned, a few small toxin injections are placed around the brow, then soothing care is applied before you leave.
Results timeline
Some tightening may be visible early, but most of the lift comes from gradual collagen remodelling.

Non-Surgical Forehead Lift FAQ
Does a non-surgical forehead lift hurt?
Most people feel warmth, prickling or brief deeper aches over the temples. Numbing cream is used and the physician adjusts energy as you go, so it is usually well tolerated.
How long does a non-surgical forehead lift last?
The energy-based lift typically lasts around a year as collagen gradually ages again. If botulinum toxin is part of the plan, that part usually lasts 3–4 months.
How much lift can I expect?
Expect a subtle, natural improvement in brow position and upper-face firmness. Marked brow drooping or heavy excess skin usually responds better to surgery, and your doctor will tell you honestly at consultation.
Can I fly home after treatment?
Yes, most patients can fly the same or next day because there are no wounds. If toxin is included, a short follow-up within 2 weeks is helpful but not essential.
How is this different from forehead tightening?
A forehead lift focuses on lifting the brow and upper face as a whole. Forehead tightening focuses on the quality, laxity and texture of the forehead skin itself.
Can I combine it with Botox for forehead lines?
Yes, but toxin dosing for lines and for brow lift must be planned together so the brow does not drop. Your physician will place doses to balance smoothing and lift.
How much does a non-surgical forehead lift cost?
Cost depends on the device, the number of shots and whether toxin is added. Send us a message on WhatsApp for a personalised quote.
