How Rejuran works for men
Rejuran contains polynucleotide (PN), purified DNA fragments from salmon. Placed in the dermis, PN is thought to support fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen, and to improve hydration and repair. Male dermis is thicker and denser, so the physician plans injection depth and spacing to reach the right layer across a larger face, often focusing on the cheeks and temples where pores and scars concentrate.
Rejuran adds no volume, so it will not change the shape of a male face. It improves how the skin looks and feels, which is why many men pair it with a lifting device such as Thermage for men, or with Potenza RF microneedling when scars are the main concern. Does Rejuran hurt?
You feel many small needle pricks, which numbing cream makes easier to tolerate. Areas near bone and the upper lip tend to feel stronger.
Will people see that I had Rejuran?
Small bumps are visible for a few hours to a day or two, and some men get minor bruises. Most return to work the next day or even the same day.
How many Rejuran sessions do men need?
A course of 3 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart is typical, with maintenance every 4–6 months. Thick or scarred skin may benefit from more.
Can I shave after Rejuran?
Shave the evening before and wait until bumps settle, usually a day or two, before shaving the treated area again. Use a clean blade and skip aftershave for a few days.
Does Rejuran help acne scars in men?
It can soften shallow, rolling scars and improve texture. Deep or pitted scars usually respond better when Rejuran is combined with RF microneedling.
Can I combine Rejuran with Thermage or Ultherapy?
