How body sculpting injections work
The doctor first maps the body area, standing and lying, to see where fat sits and how it affects your outline. A fat-reduction formulation, often based on deoxycholic acid-type ingredients, is then injected into the fat layer in a planned pattern. It disrupts fat cell membranes, and the body clears the released fat over the following weeks.
Because larger areas are involved, treatment is delivered as a course of sessions, with areas prioritised and the plan adjusted at each visit. Injections reduce fat but do little for loose skin or muscle tone, so many plans add Body InMode to tighten and tone. Results depend on a stable weight, and the treatment works best as part of wider non-surgical body contouring.
